the studios are an amalgam of folks that somehow find the time and energy in their daily lives to make stuff. we help each other out, we lend each other tools, we drink wine and coffee and bounce ideas off each other. this community is what makes the spare room project possible.

erin mcelroy makes all kinds of things. you know, things like paintings, photographs, papers, websites, sprouts, and trouble. in sixth grade erin made a coat of arms out of felt that said "never bored," and pretty much that sums it up.
